About Tilbury Blog

The Tilbury Band is a community brass band founded in 1919 by the National Union of Railwaymen.  The Band is open to all brass musicians of all ages, regardless of experience.  The Tilbury Learners’ Ensemble (Training Band) exists to help musicians of all ages (young or just ‘young-at-heart’) to learn to play a brass or percussion instrument and perform as part of a large-scale musical group. 

Tilbury Blog is a space for Band Members and those from the local and wider community to talk about your Band.
